OK, I admit when the Dodge Charger first came out and I heard that Chrysler was releasing it as a four door sedan I was NOT a fan of the idea. I grew up in the Muscle Car era and the name “Charger” has always brought to mind the bodystyle of 68-70. Once I got over my initial bias and allowed myself to drive the car I was impressed with the performance and I am sure you will too. With the Dodge Charger RT you get the power and sportiness of a Muscle Car with the roominess and comfort of a luxury car. After MANY agonizing years of anticipation, the new Camaro doesn’t just live up to the hype but also shows us what a true muscle car should be. The traditional muscle car stereotype previously thought of goes like this — an affordable base model that looks fast but goes slow due to a lumpy V6, while the V8-powered model will do mad burnouts in your high school parking lot but can’t take a corner to save its (or your) life.
